First of all, thanks for your effort! I like most of the new features (mark movies as owned, edit comments, making personal lists...), while I don't care for others (marking lists as favorite).
BUT the design is way more confusing, and I think it might turn off potential new users!!
I liked the simplicity of the old site... now it feels overloaded with all of these small symbols, pull-down menus and tabs...and often you end up on one of those pesky pages asking you to upgrade to premium, without warning, even for rather basic functions. Maybe you can just grey out the respective symbols for "normal" users instead?
Overall, browsing the site is just not as much fun as before...now the page feels more like an Excel Spreadsheet. Isn't it possible to keep the new functions while maintaining a slick and accessible design?
